In this gallery, you can view my video work! If you can't tell, I love nature. Please enjoy!
I created a short film as a visual representation; a way to depict the beautiful interaction between a human spirit and mother Earth. I choose music that would support the visuals the best. I plan to create stories like this for a bride and groom as well as many of the other special moments we might share with someone else in life. nitashiajohnson.com It's been years since I've worked with Sabrina Lynn. She has such a great soul and a deep thinker. #eARTh #Art #Dallas #weddingvisuals #love #spirit #dallasphotographer
Finding peace in the world is very important to your mental health. I created this video because nature is so relaxing. It was also my experimentation with the black male form. Black men are beautiful when not suppressed for being who they are. This statement applies to the entire community. This video aligns with the image I created titled "Amen". The subject has also appeared in some of my work published in The New York Times. nitashiajohnson.com
A Conversation With AI
This past semester we've discussed AI (Artificial Intelligence) and all its components. One question has surfaced often and that is " Do you feel ai technology will replace (us humans) you?" I really don't know the answer to that question and to be honest, I don't think I ever will. I will this, say many of us are home, surrounded by technology that can not feel. I'm not sure if AI technology could ever really feel anything for that matter. Maybe one day we'll change that. It's just hard to truly ever be replaced by something that was created with parts and code and not the spirit.
Here is a very short film I created titled 'Caged'. We can all feel alone and trapped sometimes. But don't worry, everything will be ok. The video was also created to showcase the song Rose Gold by Kid Cudi and how the lyrics relate too many of our daily lives. We can all feel trapped at any point in time.
O Dear, Woman
Music: Fever Ray "If I Had A Heart" I've always wanted to tells stories through moving images. With my Sony gear, I'm now able to grow and do so. The video I'm showing you today was shot only a few days ago. I created it to symbolize how the pressure of time can be placed on and in the minds of women. Society can make us feel like we are running out of time to do almost anything. There is always a rush to do something. The world will make you feel bad for starting school late, having a baby after a certain age, working too much, not breastfeeding, for breastfeeding. The world can make you feel bad for doing what feeds your soul. Title: O, Dear Muse: Rachael Drury Opening Statement: Poet, Nancy Johnson
